Konza-Prairie-Community-Health-Center- is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our community-focused clinic in Junction City, KS. You will support clinicians, prepare treatment rooms, and help ensure a positive patient experience with careful infection control and X-ray procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification preferred.
• Dental assisting certification is preferred but not always required.
• Experience in a dental office or clinical setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians during dental procedures and prepare treatment rooms.
• Take and process dental X-rays with proper safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of care.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient clinic flow.
