Job summary

Smile is seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join Dr Gabriella Paolucci's practice in Joliet, IL. The position is part-time with a schedule including weekday shifts and occasional Saturdays, in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous dental assisting experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• X ray certification preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Stock operatories and assist with inventory management.
• Support the clinical team in providing an exceptional patient experience.

We are looking for a motivated professional who enjoys providing excellent patient care and working in a collaborative dental environment

Schedule Wednesday 900 AM 500 PM Thursday 900 AM 500 PM Friday 900 AM 500 PM Occasional Saturdays 900 AM 500 PM

Responsibilities
