Job summary

Hyannis Dental Partners in Hyannis, MA, is looking for a Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering outstanding patient care. You will assist chairside, help with radiographs, sterilization, and patient education while contributing to a friendly, team-oriented environment.

• 1+ year of Dental Assistant experience.
• CRP Radiography/X-ray certification per state guidelines.
• Familiar with dental terminology and procedures.
• Maintains a positive, collaborative disposition with team and patients.
• Complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009.

Responsibilities

• Provide best patient experience and support dentist chairside.
• Assist with documentation and record upkeep.
• Listen and address patient concerns.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and oral health.
• Oversee operatory setup, sterilization, and cleanup.
• Take radiographs/x-rays.
• Support front desk and office manager as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Strive to provide the best patient experience
• Support and Assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.
• Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records
• Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
• Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
• Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
• Take radiographs/x-rays
• Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year(s) Dental Assistant experience
• CRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelines
• Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
• Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients
• Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
• Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
