Our Team works closely with our medical and behavioral health providers to put patients' physical, mental, emotional and social well-being at the center of patient care.

Our Dental Assistants work closely with our Dentists and Dental Hygienists to provide excellent dental care. General duties for this role include patient intake and processing, chair-side assisting, patient education, and pre- and post-op instruction. Additional duties for a Dental Assistant at One Community Health may include set-up, clean up, sterilization, quality control checks, and performing radiographic surveys as prescribed by the dentist.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of dental experience
  • Current Oregon dental radiology certification and Healthcare Provider CPR certification
  • Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with marginalized, high-risk, or otherwise underserved populations.

Compensation:

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $25.00 per hour, increases with experience/certification
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Weekend Differential: This position receives base hourly pay along with an extra $10.00 for each hour worked on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
