Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor for morning classes. You will teach in the Dental Assisting classroom, deliver lectures and demonstrations, and work with Ross curriculum in a year-round program.

The role offers mornings, 8:30–1, and requires building a strong student experience. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in dentistry with RDA or CDA certification, or 5+ years with certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental field and a national certification as RDA or CDA, plus formal training in a dental assisting program.
• If no formal education, 5+ years’ experience with a national certification.
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience helpful.
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Teach Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross curriculum and lesson plans.
• Classes run year round; sessions are 4.5 hours, 9 hours per week total.
