Job summary

Bright Now Dental in Frederick, MD is part of Smile Brands Inc. and seeks a Dental Assistant to support dentists, prep rooms, take X‑rays, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

You will work closely with a collaborative clinical team to deliver high-quality care in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RDA certification required.
• Radiology certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Support smooth patient flow and a positive experience from check-in to check-out.
• Collaborate closely with the clinical team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday to Friday 8-5, 1 Sat / month

Responsibilities
