Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in Framingham, MA, is hiring a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support our oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures. This full-time role offers hands-on chairside support, patient care, and opportunities to grow with a patient-centered team.

You’ll help with anesthesia administration documentation, instrument sterilization, and coordination of pre- and post-operative care while maintaining a high standard of infection control.

Qualifications

• Previous prosthodontist or oral surgery assistant experience preferred.
• Valid state certifications meet requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and patient safety focus.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during surgical and implant procedures.
• Maintain organized treatment areas and anticipate clinician needs.
• Assist with anesthesia administration documentation.
• Ensure patient comfort and pre-/post-operative education.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare trays per infection protocols.
• Assist with scheduling, patient greeting, and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical and prosthodontic teams for seamless care.

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $25– $28 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures




• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area




• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures




• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate them on pre- and post-operative care




• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocols




• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed




• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management




• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed




• Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Prosthodontist or Oral Surgery Assistant a definite plus.




• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements




• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision




• Self-starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and care




• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment




• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

$25-$28 / hour - depending on experience and certifications
