Job Details: Job Location: Framingham, MA 01720, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly, Job Category: Health Care, At Simply Orthodontics, the Orthodontic Dental Assistant plays an essential role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting the clinical team in delivering high-quality orthodontic care. You are a key part of helping appointments run smoothly, ensuring patients feel comfortable, and supporting efficient clinical operations throughout the day. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoy working closely with patients, we’d love to meet you. This position will work out of our offices in Framingham and Hopkinton; must be able to work at both locations to be considered for this position. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their orthodontic visit
• Assist the Orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures, including adjustments, bonding, debonding, retainer appointments, and other clinical treatments
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule
• Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, photographs, and scans/impressions as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, retainers, aligners, and post-treatment instructions to support successful outcomes
• Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed
• Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area
• Collaborate closely with the orthodontic team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Orthodontic experience strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with dental experience and a positive attitude
