Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant ensures that quality patient care is a priority. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, educating and preparing patients, aiding the dentist in procedures, and recording/documenting procedures as directed by the Practice Leader.

Schedule

Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner.
  • Sterilize and prepare instruments for procedures.
  • Take digital imaging as prescribed.
  • Practice within the legal scope of assistant duties, depending on state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Set up and clean rooms according to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate needs with team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical procedures.
  • Maintain dental equipment.
  • Contribute positively to a respectful team environment.
  • Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction professionally.
  • Be punctual for scheduled shifts.
Education and Experience
  • At least 1 year of dental assisting experience.
  • Current CPR and X-ray Certification.
  • State-specific licensing/certifications as required.
  • Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged standing and bending.
  • Ability to lift less than 15 pounds.
