Dental Assisting Job Responsibilities

1. Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring equipment readiness
2. Knowledge of oral anatomy and dental terminology
3. Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants
4. Assisting dentists by handing instruments and anticipating needs
5. Taking and processing patient X-rays
6. Performing lab tasks as instructed
7. Greeting patients and scheduling appointments
8. Advising patients on oral hygiene
9. Maintaining patient records and assisting with payments
10. Communicating oral hygiene and post-op care instructions
11. Handling administrative duties to maintain the practice

Qualifications

1. 6 months to 1 year of Dental Assisting experience preferred, but training available for the right candidate
2. Professionalism, high moral standards, and self-motivation
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Driven to excel and provide excellent patient care

Compensation & Benefits
