North American Dental Group is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support the practice with chair-side assistance, patient preparation, and dental procedures, while maintaining a high standard of infection control and patient education.

The role offers 4 days per week with full- or part-time options. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists.
• Record health histories and chart entries in dental software.
• Assist with radiographs and aseptic preparation.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support to help patients get the care they need. Dental Assistant will help prepare the patient for treatment and assist the dentist in restorative dentistry.

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

• Provides excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists which includes but is not limited to: charting, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Reviews the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Prepares patients, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, maintains chain of asepsis, prepares materials, and assists dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
• Exposes and develops dental diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows OSHA regulations and safety requirements to include compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting Certification or prior on the job training
• 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
• CPR Certification required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
