Job summary

Waterford Dental Practice is expanding our hours and is seeking an outgoing, energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about patient care and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays where permitted, maintain sterilization, and ensure patient comfort in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Great teammates who are dependable and eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment.
• Passion for patient care and helping others.
• Career-minded and eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments.
• Take dental X-rays as permitted.
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort.
• Educate patients on treatment and oral health when appropriate.
• Support the dentist and clinical team throughout the day.
• Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience.

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 1 Saturday a month: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
