Advantage Dental+ is growing and seeking a Dental Assistant who shares our patient-first approach. You will provide chair-side clinical support, assist doctors and hygienists, and help with operatory setup, X-rays, and patient education.

Qualifications

• EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and working with dental software.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup/cleanup.
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health.
• Collaborate with the team on scheduling to ensure an exceptional patient experience and maintain the practice and equipment.

Primary responsibilities of our expanded function dental assistants

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications to join us as a dental assistant

• Advanced Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA, EDDA, EFODA)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software

Compensation Range

$24.00 - $28.00 hourly
