Job summary

Advantage Dental+ in Coos Bay, OR is expanding and seeks a Dental Assistant who shares our patient-first approach. You will provide chair-side support, chart treatment plans, and help educate patients while maintaining a clean operatory.

You will take X‑Rays as prescribed, sterilize equipment, and collaborate with doctors and hygienists to ensure a great patient experience. EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification and dental software proficiency are required, with a commitment to teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

• EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification required.
• Proficient with dental software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up.
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain patient files.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health.
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment.

Primary responsibilities of our expanded function dental assistants

Compensation Range

$24.00 - $28.00 hourly
