Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists by preparing treatment spaces, instruments and materials, and by assisting during examinations and procedures.

You will take and prepare dental X-rays as permitted, provide patients with clear guidance on oral care, uphold infection control standards, and help maintain an organized, welcoming clinical environment. CPR/BLS certification is required or obtainable before start.

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care and helping the clinical team provide high-quality dentistry.

Qualifications

• Meet all state‑specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing‑to‑learn attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.

Compensation

$18.00-$24.00/hour
