Role Description

The Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Clearwater, FL. This role supports dentists during examinations and procedures, prepares treatment rooms, and ensures that instruments and equipment are properly set up and maintained. Daily responsibilities include assisting with patient intake, updating charts, providing chairside support, and offering clear post-treatment instructions to patients. The Dental Assistant also manages sterilization processes, maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the clinical areas, and helps coordinate patient flow to support an efficient and positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, patient preparation, and clinical workflow coordination.
• Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care, such as supporting preventive and restorative treatments and educating patients on oral hygiene.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Dentistry, including familiarity with common procedures, dental terminology, and basic radiography practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization, including proper handling, cleaning, and disinfecting of instruments and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Relevant qualifications include completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience, current certifications as required by Florida regulations (e.g., radiology, CPR), and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
