**Job Summary:**
The Community Health Center of Niagara, located in Niagara Falls, NY, is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients following federal, state, and local standards. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist, perform four-handed dentistry tasks, seat and dismiss patients, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, manage inventory, handle basic equipment maintenance, and perform various clerical duties. This role requires maintaining a professional and supportive attitude towards all patients and attending staff meetings.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma
- Dental office experience
- NYS registered dental assistant certification preferred
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist in various procedures using four-handed dentistry principles
- Seat and dismiss patients, maintain cleanliness in the operatory and dental laboratory
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments, develop radiographs
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, perform laboratory duties, and clerical tasks
- Utilize computerized systems for patient registration and other clerical procedures
- Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks including changing suction machine filters
**Salary:**
- Registered Dental Assistant: $18.78 - $22.46
- Uncertified Dental Assistant: $17.78 - $21.46

- Willingness to work with patients of diverse backgrounds
