Pay Range

Base pay range

$40,000.00/yr - $40,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day operations in the Dental Department, ensuring patients have active Dental Health Coverage before visits.
  2. Prepare schedules, dental forms, and insurance approvals prior to dental visits.
  3. Assist dental providers by handling administrative tasks to maximize patient treatment time.
  4. Greet and care for patients and visitors courteously, prepare patient charts, and review paperwork.
  5. Take, develop, and maintain radiographs.
  6. Maintain dental equipment and sterilize instruments following biological monitoring protocols.
  7. Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers with procedures like amalgam mixing.
  8. Answer calls, schedule appointments, and follow up as needed.
  9. Order supplies and maintain inventory.
  10. Ensure confidentiality and comply with dental policies.
  11. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
  12. Report issues to the Dental Director and assist with patient communication.
  13. Update patient information for courtesy calls and reminders.
  14. Maintain daily appointment sheets and monitor cancellations and no-shows.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma preferred.
  2. Registered, Licensed, or Certified Dental Assistant.
  3. In-house training provided.
  4. HIPAA, Infection Control, CPR or BLS certification.
  5. Good communication skills with staff and patients.
  6. Proficiency in Word and Excel.
