Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and support life-changing dental implant procedures. You will sterilize, prep materials, and provide chair-side assistance to prosthodontists, ensuring patient comfort and high-quality care.

The role offers a full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay, and ongoing training through ClearChoice University.

Qualifications

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Some prior medical/dental experience is a plus.
• Strong manual dexterity with dental instruments.
• Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Familiarity with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Prosthodontist with advanced dental procedures, especially implants.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments per infection-control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance and manage the treatment area.
• Make patients comfortable and informed during visits.
• Take radiographs and support radiographic imaging; prepare materials for impressions/restorations.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene.
• Support inventory, lab coordination, and recordkeeping for the prosthetic team.
• Handle routine office tasks such as scheduling and patient check-in.

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imagingPrepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics
• Cross train to help in all areas of the practice

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
• Some prior medical/dental experience is certainly a plus.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
