ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers in Fresno, CA is seeking a Prosthodontist Dental Assistant to support advanced dental implant procedures, prepare instruments, maintain infection control, and ensure a comfortable patient experience.

You will work closely with the Prosthodontist, provide chair-side assistance, take radiographs, manage inventory, and coordinate with the prosthetic team. A valid dental assistant certification and 2+ years' experience are required.

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.

Aufgaben

• Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area clear and organized.
• Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure exceptional care.
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
