Job summary

The HealthCare Connection (THCC) is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our Mt. Healthy and Lincoln Heights Health Centers. You will help prepare treatment rooms, assist clinicians, and maintain clean, organized care environments to ensure a positive patient experience.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED,Dental Assisting certification or equivalent, and CPR certification. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Familiarity with dental and infection control standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn electronic dental record systems.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and open to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and/or EFDA.
• Record exam findings and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor sterilization cycles and follow infection control protocols.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure clinical readiness.
• Support patient flow and clinic operations.
• Assist with various dental procedures as needed.
