Dentologie is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant (at least 6 months of DA experience required) to provide outstanding patient care in our Chicago, IL offices.

A Dentologie Dental Assistant will have excellent hourly compensation ($20-$23/hr., based on experience), career growth opportunities, a great benefits package, full-time hours with a balanced schedule, and be part of an outstanding (and fun) culture. Come be a part of something special!

Regarding work schedule, Monday - Thursday, our offices have a morning shift (7:30 am - 2:30 pm) and an evening shift (1:30 or 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm). On Friday, we have one shift from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. As a full-time employee, you should be comfortable working Monday through Friday, 5 shifts per week, with 3 morning shifts and 2 evening shifts.

Our 13 office locations in the Chicagoland area include Andersonville, Belmont, Lincoln Park, South Loop, Streeterville, Bucktown, West Loop, Evanston, Clark & Diversey, Gold Coast, River North, Southport, and Oak Park/River Forest.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties
• Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatments
• Provide a 10-star patient experience
• Contribute positively to our engaging culture
• Prepare instruments and materials for upcoming procedures
• Provide direct patient care across all dental services
• Pass dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry)
• Make patients comfortable and prepare them for treatment
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment post-treatment
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and oral health education
• Obtain dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos proficiently
• Keep treatment records and chart existing restorations and treatment plans
• Monitor and restock supplies
• Assist with patient instructions for oral care after procedures
• Follow infection control protocols
