Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in periodontics and / or oral surgery. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and capable of supporting surgical procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule between both locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the periodontist during periodontal and oral surgery procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
• Follow infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Support in setting up and breaking down surgical trays
• Assist with taking digital x-rays and impressions as needed
• Maintain inventory and organize dental supplies

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a periodontics and / or oral surgery setting (required)
• DA (Dental Assistant) credential acceptable RDA not required
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, surgical procedures, and sterilization techniques
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, clinical environment
• Excellent communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work at both Cerritos and Manhattan Beach locations

Schedule

• 3 4 days per week in Cerritos
• 1 2 days per week in Manhattan Beach
• Flexibility is required to support both offices as needed
• Hourly Rate : $25 $28 per hour (based on experience)
