Job summary

Espire is seeking a dental professional to prepare patients, assist clinicians, and manage infection control in a fast-paced Casper, WY practice. You will work with digital tools like Cerec and 3Shape, support radiography, and help educate patients on oral hygiene.

The role emphasizes patient care, team collaboration, and willingness to travel for training as needed. This is a full-time/part-time on-site opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate dental professional with teamwork and patient relationship focus.
• Familiarity with dental equipment and knowledge of Cerec/3Shape a plus.
• Experience with sedation and implants a plus.
• Willing to train and possibly travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental work.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and trays.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures.
• Record patient treatment information and vital signs.
• Expose dental x-rays and manage x-ray equipment.
• Provide pre/postoperative instructions and patient education.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Preparing patients for dental work.


• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.


• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.


• Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.


• Providing great patient care.


• Recording treatment information in patient records.


• Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.


• Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.


• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.


• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.


• Caring for dental equipment.


• Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.


• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.


• Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
