Job summary

Studio Dental Arts is seeking a friendly and organized team member for a full-time role in our in-person dental practice. You will greet patients, manage flow, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays, CT scans, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the hygienist with scans and perio charting. Proficiency in dental terminology and EMR systems is preferred, with HIPAA compliance a must.

Qualifications

• Chairside assisting experience is required.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and 3D scanner operation.
• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and manage patient flow.
• Assist dentists during procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Take dental x-rays and CT scans as needed.
• Stock supplies, sterilize instruments, and assist with lab work.
• Support hygienist with x-rays, perio charting, and iTero scanning.
• Answer phones when needed and help with patient coordination.

Job Duties include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Managing patient flow
• Great patient care
• Temps, cords, whitening, etc.
• Dental x-rays, CT Scans
• Stocking, supplies, assisting, sterilizing, etc.
• Oral surgery (willing to assist with surgeries)
• Learn quickly but also need to be detail-oriented
• Helping our hygienist with x-rays, perio charting, and iTero scanning
• Answering phones (when needed)
• Take packages to mail, FEDEX, or UPS
• Keep track of lab cases for each patient
• Have creative ideas to make patient experience and doctors much more comfortable
• Works well with others in a team environment

You will be joining and become partly responsible for creating a truly outstanding environment for all patients, yourself, and the rest of the staff!

Qualifications

• Chairside assisting experience
• Proficiency in dental terminology and 3D scanner operation
• Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and medical terminology
• Ability to assist in dental procedures efficiently
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• HIPAA compliance

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10-40 hours per week
