Job summary

Big Smiles is a school‑based mobile dental practice in Branson, MO recruiting a Dental Assistant to serve underserved children at area schools. The role offers a school‑day schedule (approximately 6–7 hours, 8:00 A.M.–3:00 P.M.) with no nights or weekends.

You will travel daily to various school sites, perform digital X‑ray imaging, chart patient records and assist with sterilization of equipment. The position includes health, dental and vision benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• X-ray license required.
• Digital X-ray imaging experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to travel to school sites.

Responsibilities

The program offers a school‑day schedule with no nights or weekends, making it ideal for working parents or anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Dental Assistant Qualifications

• X‑ray License
• Digital X‑ray Imaging experience
• Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required)
• CPR certified
• Work experience as a Dental Assistant
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel
• Works well with children
• Organized, detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
