The Foehr Group in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and provide exceptional patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene in a collaborative, patient-centered practice.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of dental assisting experience, strong communication skills, and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years on-the-job experience as a dental assistant preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
