Job summary

Advantage Dental+ in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Dental Assistant who shares our passion for patient care and education. You will provide chair-side clinical support, assist Doctors and Hygienists, take and process X-Rays, and help maintain a welcoming patient experience throughout every visit.

The role requires a dental assisting program completion or enrollment in our training, radiology certification, and a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in internal training
• Radiology certification required
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays as prescribed by the Dentist
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the Dentist
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health
• Work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice

26.00-29.00 hourly
