Job summary

Athens Endodontics is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our endodontic team. You will assist the doctor, take digital radiographs, and help manage patient flow with a friendly, professional chairside manner.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Dental Assistant and radiology certification is required.
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient service with a friendly chairside manner.
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures.
• Take radiographs using digital radiographic equipment.
• Maintain patient flow with accurate data entry and chart review.
• Clean and set up treatment rooms; organize supplies.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
• Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
• Clean and set up treatment rooms
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
• Order and organize dental supplies

This is a full-time Dental Assistant position with a schedule of : Monday-Thursday 8:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.; Fridays 8:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.

Qualifications
