Job summary

42 NORTH DENTAL is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to support both our Arlington and Cambridge offices. In this role, you will provide clinical support, ensuring a positive patient experience through effective communication and teamwork within the practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal skills, knowledge of dental procedures, and required state certifications. Benefits include health insurance, dental coverage, and continuing education assistance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is essential.
• C.D.A. certification is preferred.
• Possess required state certifications or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide post-operative instructions and education.
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect, and sterilize treatment areas.
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control policies.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Overview

This is a Full-Time Dental Assistant role.

This role will work with both our Arlington and Cambridge offices.

The Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patients and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
