Dental Care at Waterset, Apollo Beach FL 6110 Paseo Al Mar Blvd, Apollo Beach, FL 33572 is looking for a Dental Assistant.

Candidate must have 2+ years of Dental Assistant experience.

Work Schedule - No Weekends!

Monday Off

Tuesday 9:00am - 6:00pm

Wednesday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Thursday 10:00am - 7:00pm

Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

More about the role

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with team to implement systems and improve workflow.

About Dental Care at Waterset - Apollo Beach FL

Dental Care at Waterset is a community-focused practice with a collaborative team of 11 members who value communication and community involvement. We care about our staff and their growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA and data protection protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Over 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Dental assisting certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Availability for periodic training sessions.
• TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment.
