Job summary

Mortenson Dental Partners is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Amarillo team. You will prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and hand instruments, assist the dentist, and document clinical notes, providing compassionate patient care in a supportive environment.

The role offers full-time hours (40 per week), competitive hourly pay up to $22 based on experience, and benefits after 60 days. Strong communication and dental knowledge are valued, along with CPR/X-ray certification.

Qualifications

• CPR/X-ray certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room for patients.
• Sterilize and deliver instruments; position instruments for the dentist; suction and pass instruments.
• Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.

Your Role:

• Prepare the treatment room for patients
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for the dentist's access, suctioning, and passing instruments.
• Completes Clinical notes before dismissing patients
