Universal Dentistry in Abington, PA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists in examinations and procedures. You will prepare and sterilize instruments, take and develop X-rays, educate patients, and maintain a clean, compliant office environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with dental assistant certification, 1-2 years experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Dentrix and PA X-ray certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification.
• 1-2 years of experience in a dental assisting role is a plus.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments.
• X-ray certification in Pennsylvania
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in dental software Dentrix.
• Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
