Schaeflen Management LLC, based in Bensalem, PA, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll support dentists during procedures, prepare operatories, take X-rays, and help ensure patient comfort.

Entry-level candidates with formal training encouraged; certification in radiography preferred or willingness to obtain; strong organization and compassionate, patient-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience is preferred; entry-level candidates with formal training are encouraged to apply.
• Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
• Radiography (X-ray) certification—or the willingness to obtain it upon hire.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
• A compassionate, patient-first approach and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner chairside with dentists during restorations, extractions, cleanings, and a variety of other procedures.
• Create a safe, efficient clinical environment by preparing and sterilizing instruments and operatories between visits.
• Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
• Welcome patients, review medical histories, and help make every visit as comfortable and reassuring as possible.
• Keep treatment information and patient charts accurate and up to date in dental practice management software.
• Contribute to lab work, impressions, and the fabrication of temporary restorations.
• Help the practice stay ready for every patient by monitoring supplies and supporting inventory ordering.
