Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Area Manager to lead seven DOCS Dental practices across the United States. You will drive performance, own P&L, mentor future leaders, and ensure operations run efficiently and compliantly.

In this role, you will audit revenue and expenses, partner with Office Managers on staffing, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining professional environments and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of multi-site dental management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams in multi-unit environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Audit and analyze revenue performance, operational workflows, and expense controls across all assigned practices.
• Partner with Office Managers to review daily production schedules, ensuring optimal staffing and cost efficiency.
• Develop, train, and lead teams using established operating principles, policies, and best practices.
• Identify root causes of under‑performance through data analysis and reporting; design and execute corrective action plans
• Collaborate with Office Managers and the Director of Operations to resolve cost variances and operational gaps.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve regional objectives.
• Ensure practices maintain clean, organized, and professional environments.
• Oversee and/or conduct month‑end physical inventory of supplies and materials.
• Conduct or ensure completion of safety audits across assigned locations.
• Lead or support special projects and additional initiatives, as assigned.
