Guardian Dentistry Partners seeks an Anesthesiologist to provide safe anesthesia for dental patients two days per month at North Penn Dental Arts Anesthesiologist. You will collaborate with dentists and surgical teams to ensure safety, comfort, and excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, developing plans for diverse patients, administering anesthesia, monitoring, emergence, and post-operative documentation.

Qualificações

• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Valid DEA registration as required.
• Experience providing anesthesia in dental, ambulatory, or office-based settings.
• Previous experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or special-needs patient populations.
• Familiarity with office-based anesthesia best practice.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments including medical history review and airway evaluation.
• Develop and implement anesthesia plans for pediatric, adult, and special-needs patients.
• Administer anesthesia (IV sedation, deep sedation, or general) as credentialed.
• Monitor vitals and depth of sedation; manage airway status throughout procedures.
• Manage emergence, recovery, and post-operative evaluation/documentation.
• Respond to emergencies; lead airway/anesthesia-related incident management.
• Coordinate case flow with dentists and surgical teams for patient safety.
• Communicate anesthesia risks and instructions to patients and families.
• Streamline sedation protocols with clinical leadership; maintain records.
