Safari Dental and Orthodontics is a fast paced and exciting dental practice seeking that dynamic personality to help us serve our patients in an extraordinary way! We provide pediatric, general and orthodontic services. We have an immediate opening for a full time dental/ortho assistant.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service with the patient as #1 priority; partnering with staff, timely and successfully resolves patient complaints, concerns and questions
• Fully assisting the dentist chair side in the process of treating patients
• Taking and developing radio graphs
• Recording patients’ medical history; taking blood pressure and pulse
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following appointments and procedures
• Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to improve or maintain oral health
• Performing operatory set up and break down
• Sterilizing instruments

Qualifications
