• Writes and sends detailed reconsiderations and/or appeals for denials to payers; processes high volumes of denials.
• Acts as escalation point to review and resolve escalated accounts and denial issues with internal teams.
• Performs root cause analysis to identify and fix gaps in denials management processes.
• Identifies and prioritizes accounts and work queues by type, payer, and amount.
• Uses EMR platforms and payer portals to provide full-service account details to payers for resolution.
• Reviews contracts and payer policies to ensure correct application for each account.
