Job summary

Shriners Children’s Hospital seeks a Denials Management Analyst (Anesthesia) to analyze denials data, track metrics, and coordinate payor denials and audits across multiple systems. You will support process improvements and communicate findings with stakeholders.

The role requires anesthesia experience and strong knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, with proficiency in Epic PB Resolute and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of related Anesthesia experience.
• 5-7 years in a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Environment including 3 years in Third Party Collection/AR Receivables and Denials Management.
• Epic PB Resolute experience.
• Knowledge of insurance contract rates and terms.
• Knowledge of Registration and Collections.
• Knowledge of Government and Managed Care billing, coverage and payment rules.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing denials data, reporting status, metrics and trends.
• Distributing reports to distribution groups on a routine basis.
• Managing Epic work queues and resolving denials.
• Coordinating payor denial and audit activities for timely responses.
• Supporting denial/audit materials for committee meetings.
• Maintaining healthcare tracking tools including user access and training.
• Assisting with data analysis and audits for the Denials Management Team.
