IQ Resource Group is hiring Denester - General Labor candidates in Oshkosh, WI. Weekend Shifts available!

Job Summary:Under direct supervision, the General Laborer will provide support in various departments based on daily production needs. The position is responsible for a variety of support functions, with the primary duties such as spot welding and machine operation.

Pay: $17-19/hr

Hours:

• 6am-6pm Fri-Sun Weekend OR
• 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thur

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• De nesting of parts of all sizes
• Using a grinder to grind rough edges
• Requires ability to do basic mathematics, set up equipment, run forming equipment, and ability to run a spot.
• Observe machine operation to detect quality issues and machine malfunction. Operate any equipment as needed to perform the job assigned.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist with general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of production equipment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality in daily activities
• Once trained, must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a safe manner and possess a working knowledge of tools.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience with metal fabrication operations and equipment

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
