Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a VAS Associate in Denver, CO to pick and pack client orders with precision. You will ensure all orders are complete and correct, following verbal instructions from a supervisor and matching labels to packing slips.

Responsibilities include retrieving items, counting orders, inspecting for defects, packing according to guidelines, and contributing ideas to improve warehousing procedures. This is a full-time position based in Denver.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $19.60 - $19.60 Hourly

The VAS Associate will be responsible for picking and packing Client orders. Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

• Receives verbal instructions from manager.
• Match labels to Packing Slips.
• Obtains product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves.
• Picks/counts customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Pack products according to customer orders, ensuring attention to detail.
• Ensures order is packed/shipped per retailer routing guide.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.

QualificationsRequired experience:

• Attention to detail.
• Dexterity - must be able to use tape gun and/or tape machine.
• Strong warehouse background.
• Able to stand and/or walk up to 10 hours a day.
• Able to demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving.
• High level of energy and drive to work with the warehouse employees.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operate a cherry picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Simple Math - Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing.
• High school diploma required; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving.
• Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
• Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
• Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
• Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office, and communicating effectively via email and phone frequently required.
