Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of excavator experience in a construction setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow site plans.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL A is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely and precisely operate excavators for demolition projects.
• Load trucks and move materials efficiently while maintaining site safety.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.

Excavator Operator

Based in Lincoln, NE , (90% Travel Required)

This is a hands-on, essential role responsible for precision excavation, grading, and site preparation to keep projects moving forward safely and on schedule.

This position supports demolition and construction projects through safe and efficient excavation, grading, site preparation, and material handling.

What You’ll Do

• Safely and precisely operate excavators for demolition projects.
• Load trucks and move materials efficiently while maintaining site safety.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Work closely with foremen and crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
• Assist with general site activities as needed.

What You’ll Bring

• 2-3+ years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting.
• Strong understanding of grades, elevations, and site layout.
• Experience with utility trenching, footings, and site prep preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow site plans.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
