Job summary

SA Recycling in Brownsville, TX is seeking an Offsite Demolition lead man to supervise daily activities, mentor crew members, and ensure safety and quality on site. This role supports the foreman, drives productivity, and enforces company policies in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supervising demolition teams, experience with demolition tools, and knowledge of safety protocols. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and the company offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience supervising others
• Experience in Demolition including the use of tools and equipment

Responsibilities

SA Recycling - South Texas Region, is currently looking for an Offsite Demolition lead man to join our Values based organization. This position will be based in our Brownsville, TX facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the crew by assigning and coordinating daily work activities.
• Support the Foreman/Supervisor in managing workflow, schedules, and productivity.

Requirements

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test
• Must pass a background check and credit check
• Preferred - high school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable
• Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) language skills a plus
• Ability to: communicate with others effectively; understand direction (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands
• An understanding of the metal market well enough to negotiate pricing, delivery process, and production demands
• Possess interpersonal skills to gain support of workforce and clientele when conducting business
