Job summary

Catbird NYC is seeking a part-time Retail Stylist to guide customers toward demi-fine jewelry and deliver a memorable, sales-driven experience. You’ll perform device-based ear piercings and weld Forever Jewelry with precision, after training, while upholding Catbird’s standards on the sales floor.

Weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday). You’ll build relationships, drive conversions, and collaborate with store leadership to meet sales goals and exemplify our values in every

Qualifications

• Retail jewelry experience preferred.
• Comfort performing piercing and welding after training.
• Stand for extended periods and assist customers with jewelry selection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-touch, sales-focused customer experience that converts browsers into buyers and builds long-term loyalty.
• Confidently sell Catbird’s demi-fine jewelry assortment based on style, lifestyle, and budget.
• Perform device-based ear piercings and educate customers on aftercare and upgrades.
• Weld Catbird’s Forever Jewelry and suggest complementary purchases.
• Educate customers on materials, craftsmanship, fit, styling, and care to increase trust.
• Maintain visual and quality standards on the sales floor; keep area stocked and inviting.
• Support daily store operations including receiving, pricing, restocking, merchandising, and inventory maintenance.
• Work with store leadership and teammates to meet sales goals and uphold service standards.
