PENN Entertainment is seeking a culinary team member to uphold high standards in food preparation and kitchen operations. You will ensure quality and safety while supporting efficient workflow across a specific outlet and shift.

The role requires knowledge of menu planning, food costs, and excellent English communication. You will contribute to a positive guest experience through attentive service and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and/or apprenticeship in a chef role.
• Knowledge of menu planning, soups, sauces, meats, poultry and seafood items is preferred.
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain culinary standards and operational guidelines for a specific outlet and shift.
• Administer all aspects of food preparation; keep the kitchen clean and stocked.
• Assist with menu planning to improve costs, volume, quality and efficiency.
• Perform kitchen tasks as needed (broiler, sauté, prep).
• Meet or exceed sanitation requirements (ServSafe) and adhere to bargaining unit agreements.
• Coordinate workflow during shifts to meet business demands and guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests professionally and address concerns to maintain quality.
