Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking caring, patient memory-care aides to support seniors at home, including those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. You will provide supportive care, companionship, and daily living assistance in a home setting.

Fridays and Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm; CNA/HHA is preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and background check are required. TB test must be current.

Qualifications

• Proven caregiving experience (1+ year preferred).
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia care preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable demeanor.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to pass a comprehensive background check.
• CNA/HHA certification preferred but not required; Home Care Aide Registration or willingness to obtain.
• Must be able to obtain TB test within required window.

Responsibilities

• Specialized Memory Care: provide cognitive stimulation, implement routines, prevent wandering.
• Personal Care: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Companionship: build relationships through conversation and activities.
• Daily Assistance: meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, medications reminders.
• Transportation: assist with errands and medical appointments.

The Role:

We are looking for compassionate, patient, and skilled caregivers who have a heart for memory care. You will provide essential support to seniors with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, helping them stay safe and engaged in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Specialized Memory Care: Provide cognitive stimulation, implement routines, and ensure a safe environment (wandering prevention).

• Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Companionship: Build meaningful relationships through conversation, activities, and emotional support.

• Daily Assistance: Meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders.

• Transportation: Assist with errands and getting to medical appointments.

Schedule Part-Time:

Fridays and Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in caregiving (1+ year preferred).

• Specific training or experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia care.

• A truly compassionate, patient, and dependable heart.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

• CNA/HHA (Preferred, but not required)

• Home Care Aide Registration (Or Willing to obtain one upon hire)

• Negative TB Test (Valid within 90 days or 7 days after hire)
