Andwell Health Partners in Presque Isle, ME is seeking a Dementia Respite PSS/CNA to provide compassionate in-home care during four-hour visits under the GUIDE program. This per diem role emphasizes personalized support and meaningful companionship for clients with dementia.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, activities, and caregiver respite, while promoting dignity and comfort in familiar home settings. A valid CNA/PSS credential and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Support Specialist (PSS) or CNA credential required.
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in meaningful activities (reading, games, conversation, walks).
• Support personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility and daily living tasks.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients and caregivers.
• Offer respite to caregivers through scheduled visits.
