Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in the Sarver, PA area. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections with a consistent weekday morning schedule and experience with dementia clients is preferred.

The caregiver will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, help with meals and light housekeeping, and offer transportation to appointments and activities, all while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of professional or personal home care experience (Required)
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative TB test result (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage client in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany client to appointments or social events
• Monitor client’s well-being and report concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
