Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Michigan is looking for a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care across weekdays and weekends in Stockbridge, Chelsea, and surrounding areas. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we’d love to meet you.

You will deliver person-centered care, assist with daily activities, meal prep, and safe transfers, with flexible schedules including overnights.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required).
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement.
• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders.
• Safely transfer clients and provide assistance with personal care needs including dressing, and toileting.
• Offer flexible, multi-generational support to the broader family unit, including childcare assistance.
