Job summary

BD&J Injury Lawyers, headquartered in Los Angeles, seeks a skilled Demand Writer to draft settlement letters, analyze medical records, and calculate damages for personal injury cases. This on-site role requires accuracy, strong writing, and the ability to present case facts clearly to insurers.

The candidate will review medical reports, compile damages, and revise drafts per attorney feedback. 2+ years PI experience and proficiency with MS Office are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in a Personal Injury law firm.
• Must be familiar with reading medical reports and medical bills.
• Must be organized and efficient with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must have excellent math skills and writing skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is California’s leading personal injury law firm, with over $3 billion recovered for our clients, and we are currently seeking a skilled and articulate Demand Writer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a way with words and a keen eye for detail to contribute to personal injury cases.

This is a full-time, onsite position in our offices in West Los Angeles.

Responsibilities Include

• Calculating the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more.
